Slide the City

The smiles were plentiful up and down the Main Street on August 5, 2017 when the Chisholm Community Foundation, along with 42 other sponsors, hosted Slide the City.  Slide the City, a family-friendly slip and slide water party event, brought over 5,000 people of all ages from across the Range and the U.S. to Chisholm’s Main Street, where a 1,000 foot water slide was set up.  Over 60 volunteers helped throughout the day and evening to make this one of the most successful and fun-filled events ever to take place in our community.  More than 2,300 people went down the slide.  All proceeds from local ticket sales benefitted the CCF.  Special thanks go out to the City of Chisholm, Chisholm Police Department, Chisholm Ambulance, and City Crew Workers.   A tentative date of July 14, 2018 has been scheduled to bring Slide the City back to town

Chisholm Community Foundation Hosts 22nd Annual Golf Tourney

The Chisholm Community Foundation held its 22nd annual golf tournament on July 31, 2017 at the Mesaba Country Club.  One hundred twenty-eight golfers geared up and participated in a beautiful, fun-filled day on the Links.  A delicious buffet dinner was held at Valentini’s Supper Club after the tourney.  The team of Jon Rice, Frank Gornick, Larry Johnson and Chuck Oman came out victorious at this year’s tourney!

Thank you to all of our corporate partners, hole sponsors, golfers, businesses and individuals who donated prizes, and all the volunteers who gave their time to assist throughout the day and evening.  With your help, we raised approximately $10,000.00.  Special thanks go out to the Chisholm Area Chamber of Commerce for conducting the raffles at the event and donating the proceeds to benefit the CCF.
